Peter Egeberg Moller

Peter joined Axxsys Consulting early in 2009 to focus primarily on execution of strategy and improving business processes, as well as to strengthen the strategic consultancy activities. He has spent the last twelve years of his career working with buy-side organisations.

During his career he has been responsible for corporate and business unit strategy and for the strategic direction of product development. He has expert knowledge on SimCorp Dimension, being involved in seven wall to wall implementations as well as numerous add on solutions. Peter covers the entire value chain from trade/order management to back office activities such as collateral administration. He has lived and worked in both the UK and Scandinavia and he also has experience with Europe and the North American markets.

Peter has a M.Sc. in Finance & Accounting from Copenhagen Business School and he is an alumnus from London Business School. He has previously been employed by SimCorp, Danske Bank and FIH investment bank.

Stephen McDermott

Stephen joined Axxsys in 2004, having studied Engineering he followed a career in Financial Services. Prior to joining Axxsys he had gained extensive experience managing and implementing complex business systems for top-tier organisations in the Asset Management space.

Since joining Axxsys, he has worked exclusively in the Hedge Fund and alternative Asset Management space and has built up an extensive industry and functional knowledge base of the Hedge Fund industry within Axxsys.

Stephen has been responsible for advising on system capability, system integration and operational workflow for some of the largest London-based Hedge Fund companies. He continues to support many of these businesses, helping them grow and respond to challenges of the market.

Philip Ritchie

Philip joined Axxsys Consulting as a Director in January 2007 to focus on business development. This move followed a nine year career in the financial services industry working with top tier clients for specialist software vendors, in roles ranging from consultancy to business development.

Philip has strong knowledge of technology for the buy-side community and the capabilities of the products. He has expert knowledge in terms of improving the usage of new as well as current infrastructure in terms of risk mitigation and ensuring efficient workflows.

Philip started his career with SimCorp in Copenhagen, and was involved in many strategic implementations across Europe. Later seconded to the UK office, he was instrumental in introducing SimCorp Dimension to the UK market. Philip subsequently worked as a Business Development Manager for Advent Software, focusing on the Hedge Fund, Asset Management and Service Provider community in both the UK and mainland Europe.

Philip has a M.Sc. in 'Project analysis, Finance and Investment' from the University of York, and a B.Sc. in Economics from Aalborg University, Denmark.
